I work at the local Community College as a Mathematics teacher and paint part time. I have a love of the mallee area where I now live.

Every tree and aspect of wild life is a prospective subject.  However, I also have a deep appreciation of the Australian landscape in general.

Some of my work is free flowing while other pieces such as botanical subjects and implements are more detailed. Some of my work is vibrant while other pieces are more subdued as is reflected by the changing seasons.

Sometimes people have a subject they would like to own as an artwork. I am happy to work with these.

Illustrated is my interpretation of a pair of orchids photographed in the Grampians.

My passion is water colour.

However, I also enjoy working with pastel and oil paints.

Where detailed work is required I like to work with pen and wash.

Generally the subject will dictate the medium I will use.
